Overview
The Green Mountain maple is a superior cultivar of the sugar maple, known for its rapid growth. Key traits include thick, dark green foliage with good scorch resistance, a strong structure with sturdy crotches, and excellent fall color in shades of orange to scarlet. It is also more tolerant of drought and heat than the standard sugar maple.
