‘Gingerbread’ generally grows as a multi-stemmed tree. It has a slow growth rate. It is renowned for its cinnamon, pink and tan colored bark. The bark is exfoliating, and can be peeled away in layers. It has dark green, compound leaves through spring and summer. The leaves turn a vibrant red shade in fall.
